Purpose Statement - Managing Change & Transition


An organisation's success and growth is predicated on the speed and effectiveness of its engagement with its constantly changing environment – an abiding source of many of its existential challenges. Adaptive responses to the complex problems of relentless organisational renewal in prevailing conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity are the key.

Managing Change and Transition provides senior organisational leadership with an in-depth and variegated understanding of the nature of change from an individual, group, and organisational perspective. It focuses on a range of models, tools, techniques, and theories from academe and practice that inform, shape and underwrite both successful change interventions, and the work of leading and managing change. Learning on the programme is contextualised through participants’ critical reflections on change experiences in their own organisations.
